We provide community education and information  on alcoholism & substance abuse. 

We refer those who need services to appropriate providers, &advocate for services where there is a need.

What We Offer...



  • Life Skills - a six week in-classroom course offered to local schools, teaching personal development and leadership skills as well as substance abuse prevention topics.

  • Alcohol Literacy Challenge - is an underage drinking & binge drinking prevention curriculum proven effective in a single 50-90 minute sessions.

  • Reality Check is a statewide youth led movement against the manipulative marketing practices of the tobacco industry.

  • Active Parenting Now - For Parents of Youth ages 5-12. In six sessions parents learn a proven approach to parenting that will lead to more harmony and happiness in a home.

  • Suicide Prevention and Education materials, coalition and trainings are coordinated through BRiDGES


  • Community presentations that increase knowledge of the issues associated with addiction, alcohol, tobacco and other drug use, and related problems

  • Parent education programs to help families raise healthy, resilient children

  • Health and wellness programs for youth and adults

  • Victim Impact Panel

Information and Referral

  • Confidential information and referral services for those affected by addiction and the harmful use of substances

  • Self-help and twelve step meeting schedules

  • Free brochures and other printed material

Employee Assistance Program

  • Comprehensive Employee Assistance Program for businesses in the Central New York region

  • Individual appointments and confidential information and referral services for employees and their family members

  • Training for supervisors and managers on topics such as positive management techniques and the drug-free workplace

  • Education and training for employees on communication skills, stress management, smoking cessation, and many other topics.
